You may not think it, but sleep plays a very important role. In fact, getting the recommended 6 to 8 hours a night can help your body process food faster and more efficiently. We mean, any excuse to sleep more is a plus to us!
Mix It Up
It’s not rocket science. If you’re a regular gym-goer and are not seeing the results you want, then mix it up! Adding a combination of cardio and weight training to your exercise routine is sure to help you not only shift those extra pounds but also tone your body too. Why not take advantage of the summer and take a bike ride or cross country run as a form of cardio.
Cut Out Alcohol
This might be one of the hardest challenges for us party girls, but it’s a must. Cutting out alcohol can make a huge difference when you’re trying to achieve the perfect beach body. Alcohol not only dehydrates the body but also causes boating - which is not a good look! Cutting out the booze for a month before your vacay can guarantee you’re looking your best for the beach.
