As one of the fastest growing social media platforms in the world (I mean, are we really surprised?!), we need to keep up with the times and learn how to THRIVE over there!
So, here’s our top tips on how to grow your account and have lots of fun on TikTok!
1. CONSISTENCY
Post often and post consistently for the best chances of growth. If you’re posting more videos, there’s more chance of people seeing them - right?
Pro tip: Find the best times to post for your time zone and stick to them!
2. LOOK FOR TRENDS
Don’t just aimlessly scroll through your 'for you' page, take notice of which videos are doing well and WHY! If you keep seeing a certain trend, recreate it and fast! Jumping on trends quickly is a great way of staying relevant and catching viewers' attention.
Pro Tip: See what the big creators are doing for inspo and check the trending page!
3. TRENDING SOUNDS
A great way I’ve found to push videos is by always using trending sounds, you can find these on the trending page and by looking through the TikTok Viral and UK Hot 50 playlists.
Pro Tip: Even if you’re speaking over your video and don’t necessarily need a sound, choose one that’s trending and lower the volume!
4.STORYTELLING
Now this is probably my best tip for growing your account! Stay authentic to yourself and PROVIDE viewers with something of value.
For example, if you love fashion don’t just show people clothes, TELL them how to style pieces together and who your favourite designers are! Or if you’re a travel blogger, share how you find the best hotels.
Most importantly, have fun with TikTok! If you’re posting content that you enjoy, viewers will be drawn to you! Always stay true to yourself doll.
