Like everyone else, we just can't get enough of Netflix. The all too familiar "Are you still watching?" is something we're accustomed too and we constantly checking our emails for that 'New on Netflix' drop.
A genre that we've been really into binging lately are shows that are throwing it back to 70's, 80's and 90's but created in the now. There's something so relatable about shows that make us think of when we were a kid and picking out the songs we used to jam to at a school disco or in a long car ride.
Here are three of our fave nostalgia Netflix shows that we can't get enough of!
Stranger Things
The sci-fi series set in the 1980's has been a sure hit everywhere. The retro backdrop and lack of today's touchscreen technology gives a refreshing take on the sci-fi genre without using tech wizard gimmicks instead opting to rely on its storyline.
Everything Sucks
Recently released Everything Sucks focuses on a high school in a town called Boring set in the 1990's. Exploring love, loss, friendship and movie making, this series allows you to really feel for the characters and follow along with their storylines.
The Get Down
Set in the Bronx during the 1970's The Get Down follows a group of teenagers during the rise of hip-hop and disco. With a musical backdrop, the series follows the dreams of the characters who are faced with the violence and poverty of those living in the Bronx.
